CHRIS CROPPED SITE

On keyboards, the other founder-member of 3am, and still a professional session musician.

Studied art at Cambridge (with Pink Floyd!), but came to London to join an English version of Blood Sweat & Tears in the early 70′s. Then got involved in the first of what would become many West Endtheatre productions – with Jack Good and PJ Proby in Catch My Soul.

His keyboard skills made sure he was soon in demand as a session musician, and over the next thirty-odd years he has recorded with or toured the world with many major artists – a very short short-list would include: Hudson Ford, Judy Tzuke, Neil Diamond, Three Degrees, Bobby Womack, Hudson-Ford, Chris Farlowe, Jim Capaldi, Midnight Flyer, Strawbs, Ray Minhinnett, Eurythmics, ACDC, George Michael, and recently Frankie Miller Band.

TV sessions include The Tube, Top of The Pops, Razzmatazz , Old Grey Whistle Test, and the 70’s TV series Rock Follies.  Work in theWest End’s Theatre-land include the classic “Hair”and more recently a stint as Musical Director for the Rocky Horror Show.

Having been a family friend of Tim’s for many years, he happily joined 3am when it started in 2002, where his experience and professionalism on stage and in the rehearsal/recording studio make him a much-valued member of the band.
